Position Summary

J&P Bullard clinic is seeking a qualified and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The NP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients; manage acute and chronic conditions; prescribe medications; order and interpret diagnostic tests; provide patient education; and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications within applicable California requirements.
• Educate patients on treatment, medications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely EHR/EMR documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance, patient safety, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current California NP and RN licenses.
• National NP board certification.
• Appropriate California prescriptive/furnishing authority.
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA registration, if required.
• Clinical experience in an outpatient or comparable healthcare setting.

Work Requirement

This is an in-person position at the J&P Bullard clinic and requires regular interaction with patients and the clinical team.
